Thanks to Horror Tree, I have found several new outlets for my short stories. Thanks to their regular tweets, I have had stories placed with 3 anthologies from Cruentus Libri Press (You’d Better Watch Out/From Their Cradle to Your Grave/War is Hell) as well as Hersham Horror’s Alt-Zombie.
Red Gear Works came in when our company web page was an absolute disaster. Our previous web designer had allowed it to lapse, nothing worked and it was so jumbled that we were on the verge of just giving up and starting over.
In less than half the time that others were telling us it would take to fix, not only did Mr. Conover have it working, but it looks so much better. When we received our bill, we were amazed at the cost…in the best way possible.
His work is excellent and he won’t soak you with the bill. I will be calling on him any time we need help again.
Buy Zombie has its rotted fingers directly on the nonexistent pulse of things zombie-related. I’ll admit it – I’m totally addicted!
My short story ‘Being Superhuman’ is included in the ’50 Shades of Decay’ anthology due out next month, published by Angelic Knight Press.
After discovering Horror Tree it very quickly became my one-stop-shop for calls for submissions, saving me hours of trawling the internet. It’s introduced me to publishers I wouldn’t have otherwise heard of and announced some of the most exciting and bizarre calls I’ve ever seen. I’m writing more, submitting more and, hopefully, I’ll be published more too.
I struggled to get anything published. Through Horror Tree I found a few anthologies that looked up my alley, and I was accepted by a few of them, and now I have had more than 20 short stories published in various anthologies and magazines. Horror Tree is one of the first resources on the web I go to.
